Materials Characterization Laboratory

The mission of the CMCL is to:

  • Enable and facilitate access to quality state-of-the-art research instrumentation by UMASS Lowell researchers and industrial collaborators;
  • Provide efficient and centralized management of a major research infrastructure; and
  • Enhance educational and research opportunities of undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
