Bio Sketch

Curran Kelleher is in his fourth year of the bachelors/masters program in Computer Science with Bioinformatics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has worked on several projects with Professor Grinstein, including adding session history to the UVP, preparing the VAST competition dataset, and authoring JyVis, and open source visualization platform. He spent last year studying and working in Germany, where he worked on implementing computer vision and 3D reconstruction algorithms on graphics cards using CUDA. His current research interests include visual analytics, software engineering, cloud computing, GPGPU applications, computer graphics, bioinformatics, and complex systems. He enjoys playing jazz guitar, taking photos, programming, and learning.
