Scott Fulmer is a staff researcher experienced in the method of ergonomic assessment used in the core data collection for Project A: conducting quantitative PATH (Posture, Activities, Tools and Handling) observations on clinical nursing staff, complemented with qualitative ergonomic observations. He has used the method to measure and report on ergonomic exposure in other trades and industries, including carpenters, electricians, ironworkers, laborers, apple harvesting, and fishing. These data have helped evaluate ergonomic interventions in equipment design and work organization in non-routinized work. Scott also has completed a practicum and several years of experience in Community-Oriented Primary Care (COPC), having worked in several professional/community partnerships to identify and prioritize health problems, then plan and evaluate intervention measures.
