Partnerships

CHPR participates in an Alliance with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety(DOS) and the University of Massachusetts Lowell Center for Health Promotion and Research (UMass Lowell CHPR) have established a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful American workplaces. This is an official part of the OSHA Alliance Program, through which OSHA works with groups committed to safety and health, including businesses, trade or professional organizations, unions and educational institutions, to leverage resources and expertise to develop compliance assistance tools and resources and share information with employers and employees to help prevent injuries, illnesses and fatalities in the workplace.
