Lauren Butler, BA is the associate manager of Parent Outreach, Education and Training for GEAR UP Lowell. As part of the GEAR UP Lowell team she works to provide families with educational materials, courses and workshops to support parent understanding and knowledge regarding the value of post-secondary education. She has worked both domestically and internationally with several non-profit organizations to help level the playing field among immigrant populations and is passionate about education as a tool for upward mobility and equality. Lauren has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology-Based Human Relations and Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College in New London, CT.
