Technical Assistance on Evalutation

CFWC also has extensive experience in evaluating planning efforts and partnerships. Many of CFWC’s evaluation work is with diverse groups and has called for devising new evaluation strategies for collecting data and providing feedback to such groups.  These efforts include:

Cambodian Community Health 2010

Over the past eight years, CFWC staff have served as evaluators and technical assistance providers to a partnership comprised of Lowell Community Health Center, the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association and other Lowell organizations in a multi-million dollar CDC-funded initiative designed to build community health resources for immigrant Cambodian elders.  CFWC evaluates the breadth and depth of the initiatives and assesses their success in meeting the needs of Cambodian elders.  As evaluators and partners in this project, CFWC has (1) developed innovative data-gathering protocols that are culturally appropriate and sensitive, (2) conducted workshops with the staff about evaluation, (3) documented challenges, barriers overcome, successes, and lessons learned from staff and partners, (4) documented system change and change among change agents, and (5) disseminated research results and programmatic best practices at many national and international conferences.
