Bio Sketch
This is my third year with GEAR UP. It has been a great learning experience for me.
Born and raised in India, I earned my bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and master's in Business Administration from my hometown Bhopal, India. Thereafter, taught for three years in an Engineering College. In 2001, I married Ashish, who is a software engineer and came to the United States. Now I live in Wilmington with my husband and three-and-a-half-year-old son, Ishaan.
Teaching is my passion. Math is my favorite subject. I have a teaching license for grades 5-12, in math. Apart from teaching, I love to play chess and I am learning to ski and golf. I am a nature lover and fall is my favorite season. I follow the motto “Past is history, future is mystery, present is a gift, so enjoy it”.
