CITA Summer Project 2003

The focus of this project was to research the impact of budget cuts on youth services in the City of Lowell. The research also surveyed how these agencies are managing the cut-backs, particularly through innovations.

This project is a follow up of the previous year's research. In summer 2002, Center carried out a research on area like education, training, small business assistance, immigrant and low income families and youth service providers.

In order to accomplish this task, a Research Team was recruited. The research team included eight students who are recent high school graduates, as well as undergraduate and graduate students.
