The Concentration in Sociology

The BLA Concentration in Sociology offers students the opportunity to understand the nature of social life in our own and other societies, including the relationship of the individual to the social order. Courses encompass such topics as ethnic cultures, the dynamics of social policy, relationships between sexes, the nature of industrial capitalism and the impact of technology on modern society.

Requirements:

Completion of a minimum of four 300-level or above Sociology courses.

Completion of a minimum of four 200-level Sociology courses.
