Philosophy
The Department of Community Health and Sustainability offers science based programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level to support and advance the health professions.
The mission of the department is to prepare individuals to become public health professionals and reesearchers who work to create a sustainabile future. Our approach provides the foundation for the design, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and technologies, with a curriculum and research focus based on the physiological and social determinants of health. Our programs encompass the areas of Community and Environmental Health, Health Management, Health Informatics and Health Policy.
