Wellness Programs Campus Recreation offers a variety of fitness and wellness opportunities to educate and motivate individuals to lead healthy lifestyles. Register for all programs at the Campus
Recreation Welcome Desk. Take advantage of these programs to reach your personal fitness goals! Some of the wellness programs offered are:
Biggest Loser Program
The goal of the program is not to just help people lose weight, but help
them live healthier & happier lives. We will educate each individual
on the importance of good exercise, nutrition, and leading a balanced
lifestyle. This 12-week program includes monthly weigh-ins where we
record your height, weight, body fat percentage, waist & hip measurements,
as well as performing muscular & cardiovascular endurance tests.
Participants receive points for weight loss, decreases in body fat
percentage & waist/hip measurements, improvements in their muscular &
cardiovascular endurance, working out at the CRC, attending group fitness
classes or instructional classes, participating in an Intramural Sport, or
working with a CRC personal trainer.
This program is scheduled to start up again during the Spring of 2009.
Dates, times, & prizes TBA. Click on the link below to view the final
point standings for last years competition. Prizes were awarded to the
top 3 students and top 3 faculty/staff members who accumulated the most
points throughout the 12-week program. Prizes last year included:
$200 visa gift card for 1st place, a $100 visa gift card for 2nd place, and
a $50 visa gift card for 3rd place.
Personal Training & Nutrition
Whether you are new to exercise or want to take your workouts to the next level, the Personal Training and Nutrition Program can assist you in reaching your goals. Our
fitness staff can provide you with both education and instruction to enhance your overall health and fitness. We strive to offer the most up-to-date and scientifically sound advice to develop safe, effective, and fun exercise and diet programs. All
new clients begin with one of the following packages and then have the
option to register for additional sessions.
Free Fitness Assessments !!!
Campus Recreation
members can sign up for a free fitness assessment to find out their
current level of fitness. During these one hour sessions body
composition, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular
endurance, and flexibility will be measured and general exercise advice
will be provided. Assessments can determine what areas need
improvement and are an essential first step in fitness programming.

Note: There is a limit of 1 free assessment for every 6 months.
This complimentary session does not include an exercise prescription.
You must sign up for a personal training package to receive an
individualized workout program.
Personal Training & Nutrition Packages
- Individual Personal Training Package
- Three sessions with a personal trainer including a fitness assessment and an individualized program.
- Student Members: $45 Non-Student Members: $60
- Nutrition Package
- Three sessions with a nutritionist including nutritional assessment, a diet plan and follow up education sessions.
- Student Members: $60 Non-Student Members: $75
- Combo Package
- Put it all together with this combination of both fitness and nutrition. Three sessions with a personal trainer and two sessions with a nutritionist. This includes a fitness assessment, an individualized fitness program, and nutritional assessment
and follow up nutrition appointment.
- Student Members: $85 Non-Student
Members: $100

- Students: $15 for 1session, $75 for 5 sessions, $150 for
10 sessions
- Non-Students: $20 for 1session, $100 for 5sessions, $200 for 10 sessions

- Partner Training Package
- Partners will receive three sessions with a personal trainer
including a fitness assessment & a personalized program based on you &
your partner's similar fitness goals.
- Students: $30/partner
- Non-Students: $45/partner
- Additional Sessions
- Students: $10/partner
- Non-Students: $15/partner
Registration Procedures
- Submit your fee for the Personal Training, Nutrition, or Combo
Package at the CRC Welcome Desk and then you can fill out your
registration packet & questionnaire.
- Once you submit your questionnaire, a trainer will review it and contact you to schedule your first appointment
within 48 hours after we receive your packet....It's that easy!
