Camp Vision: RecKids is a recreational day camp that provides a safe, supportive and fun enviornment for our summer campers. Our program encourages the pursuit of healthier, happier lifestyles and we are confident RecKids will create memorable experiences for everyone!
RecKids is for children between the ages of 6 and 11 years old.

Camp Hours:
Camp sessions are scheduled Monday-Friday with structured activities from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Camper drop-off is scheduled between 7:30 and 8 a.m. and pick-up between 4 and 4:30 p.m. If a camper arrives later than 8 a.m. s/he must check in with the summer camp's main office and be escorted to camp by a staff member.
Extended Hours: An optional extended day program is available at a nominal rate for those campers who wish to remain late. Supervision and low energy activities are provided from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. The additional cost is $50 per child for the extended day program.

Highlights: A variety of recreational sports and leisure activities are offered during each session. The camp activities are very similar to those found in a physical education class. Campers are assigned to groups according to their age.

Camp Staff: Our energetic and well-qualified staff is ready to spend an exciting summer with the campers. The staff is composed of UMass Lowell professionals and highly motivated college students. The camp is under the direction of Meghan Flynn who is a professional staff member at UMass Lowell Campus Recreation Center.
Parent Orientation: There will be a parent orientation on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at 6 p.m. in the Campus Recreation Center (CRC). It is highly recommended that parents attend the meeting. The orientation will consist of a facility tour, overview of policies, networking opportunities and introduction of the staff.
Due Dates For Fees: Payment is due for all sessions by May 31, 2012. A $50 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is required at the time of registration. The deposit is applied to the overall session fee. Your balance in full must be received by the payment deadline, or your registration will be cancelled & deposit will be forfeited.
Each camp session has a limited number of openings & you must be a UMass Lowell member at the time of registration to receive the discounted rates.
Acceptable forms of payment: cash, check, or credit card (we do not except AMEX). Checks must be payable to: UMass Lowell Campus Recreation. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
