Senior Fitness Program (55+)Program Description
This program offers older adults (55+) the opportunity to improve their fitness, understand how to use strength machines safely, and socialize with others at the same time. Our fitness staff will provide guidance during this 10-week fall program. Your first session will include a fitness assessment to help determine your current level of fitness. You will then be placed in a group of 3-4 other people and assigned to one of our personal trainers who will familiarize you with the proper technique and safe use of our strength machines. By participating in this program you will also receive the added benefit of meeting others who share you enthusiasm and motivation to become more fit. By the end of the program we would like each participant to feel more comfortable using our strength equipment and also be confident that they can continue to reach their personal fitness goals! The will be no session on 2/15 (President's Day), and 3/15 & 3/17 (Spring Break). Register at the CRC Welcome Desk by 1/25. Session TimesMondays & Wednesdays 7:30--8:30 a.m. Program FeesThe fall program and the spring program both cost $200/person. This will give you the opportunity to attend 19 total sessions plus one fitness assessment. | |
