
Beginner Salsa Dance Instructional Class
In this 8-week beginner salsa class you will be taught the basic steps, rhythm and timing. No partner is necessary!
- The fall 2009 Beginner Salsa class will be held on Thursday evenings, 6:30-7:30 p.m., in Studio 2, 9/24 - 11/12. Register at the CRC Welcome Desk by 9/24.
- The spring 2010 Beginner Salsa class will be held on Thursday evenings 6:30-7:30 p.m., in Studio 2, 2/11 - 4/8 (with no class on 3/18). Register by at the CRC Welcome Desk by 2/11.
Intermediate Salsa Dance Instructional Class
This 8-week intermediate class is for anyone who has mastered the beginner class. Prior experience is strongly recommended! This class will teach more dynamic steps and turn patterns as the focus will be on technique and the lead-follow relationship as new steps are explored. No partner is necessary!
- The fall 2009 Intermediate Salsa class will be held on Friday evenings, 6-7 p.m., in Studio 1, 9/25 - 11/13. Register at the CRC Welcome Desk by 9/25.
- The spring 2010 Intermediate Salsa class will be held on Friday evenings, 6-p.m. in Studio 1, 2/12 - 4/16 (with no class on 3/12 & 3/19). Register at the CRC Welcome Desk by 2/12.
Fee per individual (for both beginner & intermediate classes):
- Student Members: $25
- Non-Student Members: $40
- Non-Members: $55
Salsa Instructor Bio
T. J. Martin started dancing in 2002 on a college ballroom dance team. Since then he has branched off to learn other forms of partner dancing including Salsa, Swing, Argentine Tango, and West Coast Swing. Currently a gold-level ballroom competitor, T. J. dances Salsa as a way to let loose, have fun, and meet new people.
