Weekdays: 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Weekends: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Rental dates: May 30 - August 28, 2011.

There is nothing like exploring the Merrimack River by kayak. Our recreational kayaks are stable and easy to paddle. We rent single person recreational kayaks and tandem recreational kayaks.
You will need to provide either a license or credit card as collateral to check out a kayak. The collateral will be returned once when the kayak is returned back to the Boathouse.
The kayak rental rates are listed below. There is a general public rate and a UMass Lowell Student/Staff/Alumni discounted rate. You can pay in person at the Boathouse or you can pay for your kayak with a credit card online please just select the appropriate link below.

Come experience the Merrimack River from the comfort of our canoes! Our Old Town Canoe can fit two adults and a child with ease. They have a jumper seat in the middle with a built in storage/cooler compartment. Our canoes are also perfect for the fisherman looking to get off the shore.
You will need to provide either a license or credit card as collateral to rent a canoe. The collateral will be returned when the boat is returned back to the Boathouse.

Our Season and Monthly passes are a great value for people looking to spend some time on the water this summer. These passes are good for unlimited kayak usage in a single kayak. If a person would like to use the pass for a tandem kayak or a canoe rental, a $10 guest fee will apply.
