Career Services Committee

You can make a difference in the life of students or fellow alumni by providing insight about their field or career path. You can also change the way students and alumni view UMass Lowell. Instead of the University being a temporary home, with your assistance, they will see the University as a lifelong resource. Our career advising and networking opportunities will help students and alumni find their future. All of this can be achieved through our UCAN program, by joining an alumni panel within your college or department, or by speaking to a class. The committee will meet once a year to discuss our progress, your experiences with UCAN, and to discuss the trends in the job market and how the University can better serve and prepare our students and alumni as they enter the work force.

The goal of this committee is to:

Help current students and alumni view UMass Lowell as a lifelong resource and understand their role as alumni

Serve as a resource for alumni and students whether they are looking for a job, changing careers, or seeking to enhance their skills
