UMass Lowell’s Funding Needs

Those who make gifts to UMass Lowell play an important role in supporting the University. State funding accounts for only 37 percent of the University's budget, making private contributions critical to the University's continued success. Our substantial objective is to be widely recognized as a model public university that provides high quality, affordable programs and assists sustainable regional development in a global economy.
