What is the UMass Lowell Fund?

Join the more than 7,000 individuals each year who make an immediate impact where it is most needed. These alumni, students, parents and friends realize that state support and tuition and fees cover the fundamentals of a UMass Lowell education, but they know that an annual gift is leverage for excellence.

Your annual gift to a school, department or campus program strengthens the University and confirms and preserves the value of a UMass Lowell degree.

UMass Lowell Fund Giving Options:

Why should I make a gift?

Help the next generation of students benefit from the same great education you received. Only 21 percent of the UMass Lowell budget is state assisted. Private support is essential to keep tuition and fees affordable for every qualified student.

Why is your participation important?

Every gift makes a difference. Grant funders often look at the participation level of alumni to gauge the effectiveness of, and satisfaction with, a UMass Lowell education.

UMass Lowell Fund gifts, no matter what the size, are put to immediate use to help meet current on-campus priorities, such as scholarships, faculty development, library and computer upgrades, special research projects and campus facility improvements.
