Established by Professor Aldo Crugnola, this scholarship helps engineering majors who are involved in the humanities, social sciences or fine arts.

Richard Barrett Memorial Endowed Fund 
Established in honor of Richard Barrett, former Director of Financial Aid, to provide scholarship support for undergraduate students.

Charles Carroll Scholarship Endowment 
Established by Dr. Charles Carroll, former professor of history and Dean of the Division of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, this scholarship is awarded to students studying in these three areas.

Savouen Chea Memorial Scholarship Fund 
Created by faculty member Linda Silka, this fund honors the memory of Savoen Chea, who worked in the registrar’s office. Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students who are immigrants or refugee youth who have contributed to community service.

S.J. Chen Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund 
This fund was created by the Dynisco Co. to honor S.J. Chen, a plastics engineering faculty member who died in a tragic accident. Scholarships are awarded to plastics engineering students.

Charles Dickens Endowed Scholarship Fund 
Established by Diana Archibald, associate professor of English, this fund awards scholarships to english majors.

Eagle Scholarship for Women in Engineering 
Created by Fran Eagle, given to women students entering their first year of engineering programs.

Russell W. Ehlers Memorial Scholarship Fund 
Created by members of plastics engineering faculty to honor one of the founders of the department.

May Futrell Scholarship Endowment for Graduate Nursing Students 
Established by Dr. May Futrell, a retired faculty member who chaired the Department of Nursing for 20 years, this endowment funds scholarships for full-time graduate students in the nursing program.

Sukant K. Tripathy Memorial Endowed Fellowship Fund 
This multi-donor fund was created to honor Professor Sukant Tripathy, founder of the Center for Advanced Materials and former University Provost and Vice Chancellor, who died in 2000. Fellowships support Ph.D. candidates in their final year of research in the broad areas of materials sciences and polymer science.
