Help a Student by Giving Insider Information
Students struggling with career choices often need someone actually working in the profession to give them the real story on a particular career or industry. You can help UMass Lowell students with this important professional development process by joining the University Career Advisory Network (UCAN), a group of professionals, alumni and friends who have agreed to share their insight about their fields and career paths.
How it Works
Alumni and friends of the University who want to participate provide UML's Career Services with basic information about their careers. This information is maintained in a database accessible only to students and alumni who have registered through the Career Services office or website. When a student decides to pursue an informational conversation, he or she can contact you in a manner chosen by you.
