Why did you become a Tour Guide?
I became a Tour Guide to share the love I have for this school with other people. I know that sounds super corny, but when you really love something or someplace like UMass Lowell, you want to share your experiences with other people. Also taking a tour of a school can either make that school the place you want to go, or somewhere that you are glad you never have to go back.
What is your favorite thing about UMass Lowell that you want to share with others?
My favorite thing about UMass Lowell is the diversity. There are students of every race, gender, sexual orientation, religion… basically everything! There are so many new things to learn about people from all different backgrounds which, to me, is super cool. I am always trying new things because of the people around me. An example of how this has influenced me is I met someone who was Hindu, and although I am not changing my religion, I have found a new appreciation for their Gods, and their overall manners.
