Merrytime Ebhohon

Merry is originally from Ewatto, Nigeria but has been living in Lowell, MA for the past six years.  She is a Computer Engineering major and member of the class of 2011.  Merry is also involved with the Association of Students of African Origin (ASAO), Lowell  High School Alumni Society, and the National Society of Black Engineers.

Why did you choose to come to UMass Lowell?
I chose UMass Lowell mostly for a two reasons; one of which was the financial aspect of it. Since it was an in-state university it was cheaper than others that I had applied to. Also, the Engineering program here at UML is great.  I am happy with my choice.

Describe your UMass Lowell Experience:
My experience here at UMass Lowell has been great so far. The campus itself is very diverse.  I have met so many great people here that I can relate very well with here in school, and also down the road in the future. There are numerous clubs here on campus and there is always an event to attend, plus the hockey games are fun regardless if you like hockey.
