Welcome Days

Every March and April, the colleges of UMass Lowell host Welcome Days for accepted students.  The Deans of the Colleges will be present to welcome students and parents and speak in depth about their programs, including internships, performance, and research opportunities. 

The day is designed to offer accepted students and their families opportunities to learn more about UMass Lowell.  For example, the College of Arts and Science: Division of Science, the College of Engineering, and the College of Health Professions will offer exploratory tours of their laboratories and facilities.  Representatives from Music and Fine Arts will be present to answer questions about their respective areas as well. 

In addition to the academic component of the day, a resource fair has been planned to offer an opportunity to learn more about student life outside of the classroom.  Representatives from the Office of Student Services, Centers for Learning, Athletics, Residence Life and a host of other departments will be present to speak to you.  For your convenience, you will also have an opportunity for guided, in depth tour of a residence hall.
