Open House begins at the
Tsongas Center. Transportation is provided from there to UMass Lowell North, South and East.
Here are a few notes about the day to help you plan accordingly:
Doors open at the Tsongas Center at 9:00 a.m and close at 11:30 a.m.
- Travel time between each campus can take approximately 15 minutes.
- There is a lot to see; please do not feel rushed. There are numerous configurations to plan your day at Open House.
- Admissions Representatives will be at each bus stop to help direct you to your destination.
- Want to see more? You are more than welcome to visit campus again anytime.
The schedule of the day is broken down by each campus/area:
Tsongas Center:
9:00 a.m. Doors Open – Exhibits are up and Deans and Faculty from each department and college are available to answer questions.
9:15 a.m. Financial Aid Workshop #1 (approximately 45 minutes)
Buses begin rotations to campus
9:45 a.m. Financial Aid Workshop #2 (approximately 45 minutes)
10:15 a.m. Financial Aid Workshop #3 (approximately 45 minutes)
10:45 a.m. Financial Aid Workshop #4 (approximately 45 minutes)
11:30 a.m. Last bus leaves for campus - Doors close at the Tsongas Center
East Campus:
Tours last approximately 35 minutes
9:00 a.m. Continuous Residence Life & Campus Recreation Center Tours Begin
1:00 p.m. Last Residence Life & Campus Recreation Center Tour
9:30 a.m. General North Campus Tours Begin –they run every 15 minutes
Engineering Continuous Tours Begin – Cumnock Hall
10:30 a.m. College of Engineering Dean’s Presentation #1, followed by tours of the Engineering Department – Cumnock Hall
Continuous Science Tours Begin – Olney & Olsen Halls
10:45 a.m. Manning School of Business Presentation #1 – Falmouth 313
11:30 a.m. College of Engineering Dean’s Presentation #2
12:00 p.m. Manning School of Business Presentation #2 – Falmouth 313
12:45 p.m. Last Engineering Tour Begins – Cumnock Hall
Last Sciences Tour Begins – Olney & Olsen Halls
Last General North Campus Tour Begins – Bus Stop
South Campus:
10:00 a.m. General South Campus Tours begin – they run every 15 minutes from the Gazebo
10:30 a.m. Ongoing interactive activities with Nursing, Community Health, Medical Laboratory Sciences and Exercise Physiology faculty – they run every 15 minutes from Weed Lobby

The last bus will leave the Tsongas Center at 11:30 a.m.
Bus service will continue from each campus until all guests have returned to the Tsongas Center.
Please note that exhibits will close at the Tsongas Center at 11:30 a.m. sharp.
