I transferred to UMass Lowell at the beginning of my sophomore year. I felt that I needed to find a school that would help me achieve my academic, personal and career goals. While searching for a new school, UMass Lowell stood out because of the array of academic majors available to students. I was amazed at all the support I was given while going through the transfer process. Everyone made me feel so welcome!
Now that I am a UMass Lowell student, I know that I found the right school for me. I really like the fact that professors are always available for extra help and they will give you one-on-one attention, which is essential to succeed in a university environment. There is also a huge variety of clubs, organizations, and student involvement opportunities available on campus. They help you meet people and make friends quickly. It’s great how I got to know so many different people because of the diversity on campus.
