UMass Lowell is a great fit for me and it has been a great college experience.
As a commuter student, UMass Lowell has given me the same first class education as any other student while allowing me to maintain my own independent life off campus. I found it to have a very flexible learning environment, and yet
I am able to utilize all the same great facilities that on-campus students have.
Without a doubt, the professors are UMass Lowell’s greatest feature. All of my professors have gone above and beyond to help me with whatever I have needed. It's comforting and reassuring to know that you can drop by their office anytime for extra help or just to chat.
UMass Lowell has given me the flexibility that allows me hold down a job off campus and still receive an excellent education. Although I am a commuter, I feel like I am a part of the UMass Lowell community. There are plenty of clubs and groups to join, and many ways to be connected with the campus and other students.
