Part-time Students
The primary benefit of part-time status is to be billed by the credit hour for the number of credits for which you are enrolled as of the last day of the add period (first ten days of class). Please understand that your financial aid/or private health insurance coverage may be affected.
Undergraduate students who are enrolled for less than 12 credits will have their accounts adjusted after the add/drop deadline.
Please note: International students and varsity athletes may not enroll as part-time students.
To calculate your account prior to the add/drop deadline and to avoid a late fee or service indicator placed on your account due to your unpaid portion by the bill due date, refer to the undergraduate chart above for per-credit rates.
Part-time students will be charged for the health insurance unless a waiver is filed verifying comparable private health insurance coverage. For a more detailed description about health insurance refer to the General Fees tab at the left.
