Public Service Endowment Grant applications are now available to faculty and staff. These grants are intended to enhance the public service mission of the University, by bringing the skills and knowledge of faculty and staff to bear on a problem or project identified with community groups, schools, non-profit businesses, health and human service organizations, etc.  The grants serve as an internal source of funds for pilot projects. Projects that have the potential to lead to proposals for external funding will be given priority.

This year, these endowed grants will disburse $18,103. The budget for each submitted proposal should not exceed $5,000. A faculty member or staff member may only be involved in one submitted proposal, whether this is as the PI or Co-PI.

New faculty are particularly encouraged to apply.

Proposals must be received by March 1, 2009 as an email attachment to Cheryl_Hugus@uml.edu
