1001 Pawtucket Blvd. Parking Lot
UMass Lowell has leased 500 parking spaces at 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. (Route 113) beyond the UMass Lowell Bellegarde Boathouse. Freshmen commuter students will be required to park in the 1001 Pawtucket lot, Monday through Friday. The lot offers more than enough spaces to accommodate commuter freshmen parking. The lot will be serviced by four full-size buses, two for North Campus and two for South Campus.
Transportation will run between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays. After 3:30 p.m., freshmen commuters and faculty/staff satellite decal holders can park in the commuter student lots on both North and South campuses. Special parking decals will be issued to commuter freshmen to allow access into the new parking area.
Eligibility for this parking will be determined by student status as recognized by the Registrar's Office. Freshmen are those students with up to 23 credits completed.
Please note that the UMass Lowell community is permitted to park in the areas displayed below for the 2011-2012 academic year. Transportation Services will wait for travelers at the area marked "Clyde Street" in the center of the lot.
