Decal Refunds

You may receive a full or partial refund for your decal under the following two circumstances:

  1. You return your decal unused and intact within 14 days 
  2. You have withdrawn, graduated, transferred, discontinued or otherwise officially left the University.

Refund Schedule for decals purchased in the fall semester:

  • 100% refund if decal is returned unused and intact within 14 days. 
  • 100% if notification of absence is reported before fall Add/Drop period*. 
  • 50% if notification of absence is reported after fall Add/Drop period and before spring Add/Drop period*. 
  • 25% if notification of absence is reported after spring Add/Drop period, and before April 1.

Refund Schedule for decals purchased in the spring semester:

  • 100% refund if decal is returned unused and intact within 14 days. 
  • 100% if notification of absence is reported before spring Add/Drop period*. 
  • 50% if notification of absence is reported after spring Add/Drop period*, and before April 1.

* Add/Drop period is typically the 10th day of classes. Please refer to the Registrar's website for official dates.

Process:

To request a decal refund, you must complete a Parking Decal Refund Form (pdf) and return it along with your decal. If your decal is not submitted with the form, no refund will be issued.  Additionally, if you have any outstanding citations your refund will not be approved until they are paid.

Once your refund is approved, a request will be made to Accounts Payable, and a check will be issued to the mailing address listed in iSiS. Please note that if you have an outstanding balance with the University the refund will be applied to your account.
