Relief for Victims of Tragic Fire in Lowell

By Marty Meehan

Our thoughts are with the victims of the July 10 fire in Lowell that claimed seven lives and displaced many.

The generosity of the UMass Lowell community always shines in times of need. For those who are able to assist with the relief effort, donations can be made by sending a check or money order to “Branch Street Fire Victims Relief Fund,” Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, 581 Merrimack St., Lowell, MA 01854 or by making a contribution at any Jeanne D’Arc branch.

Beginning Friday, July 11, contributions of clothing and other necessities are being accepted by The Wish Project, 1A Foundry St., Lowell.
