Educational Background Celenza holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College (CUNY) in New York and a Master of Arts from Brown University in Rhode Island. He has also received specialized training on hazardous materials, asbestos and lead abatement, respiratory protection, hospital hazards, and indoor air quality.
Bio Sketch James Celenza is the Director of RI Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (RICOSH), an occupational and environmental health resource center. Celenza has been a TNEC instructor for 13 years. He trains for asbestos and lead abatement programs, has directed specialized EPA trainings on indoor air quality and OSHA training on ergonomics and general health and safety.
