Michael has an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a law degree from Western New England Law School.

Michael has come to TNEC from the construction industry.  He is a retired member of Operating Engineers Local 98.  Michael served as their Apprenticeship Instructor and was appointed as their Director of Safety Training.  Michael is qualified for all aspects of safety training.   His expertise in crane and trenching safety is an asset to TNEC and Western MassCOSH where Michael serves as the Executive Director since 2006.  Prior to this position Michael was one of the first members of Western MassCOSH and served on the original Executive Board in 1991 and held that office until becoming the Director.
