Boott Camp
Build and test your own canal system, weave cloth on a four-harness loom, explore the historic Boott Mills and boardinghouse, visit an operating factory weave room, ride a trolley, take a trip on the Merrimack River, do crafts, play games and create works of art. Explore the roots of the American Industrial Revolution and find out how this amazing time in history still affects the way we live today!

- Cost: $175 per camper per week, sibling discount price $155.
- Schedule: Each camp runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Lunches: Snacks and T-shirts are provided; students bring a brown bag lunch.

Boott Camp: Discovery!
For the older camper who wants more of a challenge. Can you drop an egg from fifteen feet without breaking it? See how far you can make a rocket fly. Discover plants and animals along the Merrimack River. Have fun on field trips. Weave cotton cloth on our four harness looms. Become an inventor using household "junk" and get messy with science. This camp will take you a step beyond the ordinary!

Eco-Explorers
Lowell may be a city, but nature can still be found here. Spend a week with other "eco-explorers" learning about nature in and around an urban National Park. Go canoeing, visit a nature center, take an urban nature hike in downtown Lowell, and try to make s'mores without a campfire. Discover the natural world in your own "backyard."

National Parks Adventure
Visiting New Sites for 2013!
Visit five National Parks and affiliated areas in Massachusetts to explore America's history and culture. Generate a spark learning about Lowell's power system and take a boat tour of the city's canals. Take part in a Colonial muster on Concord's battle road. Climb Bunker Hill Monument, tour Boston Harbor by boat and visit historic Faneuil Hall. Become a landscape architect and plan your own city park. Visit Salem harbor, board a Tall Ship, and then make and fly a kite.

Wonders of Water
Water is very important to the city of Lowell. Explore Lowell's awesome waterways aboard a National Park Service boat, learn about water by doing wacky experiments, build a working power canal system, and investigate the creatures that call water home. Discover the amazing connections between science and history in the "Venice of America."
