• The Massachusetts Life Center has has launched the 2011 Life Sciences Internship Challenge, a summer internship opportunity. 

• The Occupational Health Internship Program (OHIP) is summer internship program to help medical, nursing, public health, and other students learn more about the field of occupational safety and health from those with the most at stake: working people. Deadline: March 14, 2011

• The Summer Internship Program (SIP) at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) provides an opportunity to spend a summer working at the NIEHS side-by-side with some of the leading scientists in the world, in an environment devoted exclusively to environmental health research. • Research project training opportunities for faculty and/or postgraduates are available with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA), Virginia.

• The ASSE Foundation is pleased to offer the Liberty Mutual Safety Research Fellowship Program at the Liberty Mutual Research Institute for Safety in Hopkinton, MA. 
  Application deadline is February 1, 2011

• The American Public Health Association (APHA) announces a call for applications for the APHA Public Health Fellowship in Government. APHA is looking for candidates with strong public health credentials who wish to spend one year in Washington, D.C. working in a CONGRESSIONAL office on legislative and policy issues such as health, the environment or other public health concerns. Deadline is April 4, 2011
