Semester Registration Information
All physical therapy students register for semester coursework with faculty.
Awards/Honor Societies
Graduate School Award: graduate student that has shown excellence in academics, scholarship and service to the community.
Dean’s Award: graduate student with the highest grade point average in the School of Health and Environment.
Departmental Award: graduate student with a high grade point average and has shown excellence in the clinical environment.
Department Clinical Excellence Award: nominated by a student’s clinical instructor and/or the UMass Lowell Coordinator of Clinical Education.

Scott Waugh Fellowship: The Scott Waugh ’90 Sports Therapy Fellowship will be awarded to two students each year selected by the University Athletic Trainer and the Chair of Physical Therapy. The fellowship will provide valuable employment and experiential opportunities as well as tuition assistance for two consecutive academic semesters per student.
