The Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education responds to the growing need for professional nurses who have specialty education in teaching methods and curriculum. It is intended for nurses who hold a master’s degree, a doctoral degree, or are matriculated in a doctoral program. The courses emphasize teaching/learning principles, curriculum and instruction, and research evaluation in higher education.
See the Graduate School Catalog for a Sample Course of Study.
