Biosketch
Nicholas Warren, Sc.D., is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center (UCHC) in Farmington and the ergonomics coordinator at the Ergonomic Technology Center of Connecticut (ErgoCenter, located at UCHC). His research focuses on 1) biomedical, psychosocial and organizational risk factors for musculoskeletal disorders and their interaction and 2) health care research, examining the links between organizational characteristics (structure, culture, policies, etc.), employee working conditions, and quality/safety of patient care. Dr. Warren's consulting/training work through the ErgoCenter involves developing labor/management ergonomic programs in industrial, office and healthcare workplaces.
