The WHO Collaborating Center (WHOCC) for Occupational Health in the Department of Work Environment was established in May 1996. The designation was obtained after a site visit from WHO/PAHO to the Department in 1995 and an interview with Chancellor William Hogan. The designation of the center has been effective since then, for periods of four years. Our latest re-designation is effective between September 2012-September 2016.
