Learn to play Violin, Viola or Cello!

Fall 2014 General Information and Registration Night

Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in Durgin Hall, UMass Lowell, 35 Wilder Street, Lowell, MA  01854.

Email: stringproject@uml.edu for more information.

We wish to invite students ages 8-18 from throughout the Merrimack Valley to register for String Project.  We accept students of all skill levels.  There is no audition requirement to join, and each student is place in a developmentally appropriate ensemble upon enrollment.  We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. (for younger groups) and 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. (for older groups), throughout the academic year.  Through generous support from community sponsors, we now have scholarships available for those who qualify.

For returning students or those who have pre-registered, this meeting is still required. Students will be measured for instruments as well as the completion of all registration paperwork. The meeting will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m.

Late Registration Night

Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Noon in Durgin Hall, UMass Lowell, 35 Wilder Street, Lowell, MA  01854.

Email: stringproject@uml.edu for more information.

The Late Registration Night is to allow for parents who learned of the program at a later date to enroll their child in the String Project. Please note: This is not intended as an alternative to the July 26th General Information and Registration Night.  Students who late register on September 6 will be delayed in getting their instruments. Also, scholarship availability may be limited by this time.
