The opening of the Emerging Technologies and Innovation Center (ETIC) marks the beginning of new scientific discovery and ground-breaking research at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Speakers included Governor Deval Patrick, U.S. Representative Niki Tsongas, State Senator Eileen Donoghue, State Representative Thomas Golden, UMass President Robert Caret, UMass Lowell Vice Provost for Research Julie Chen, State Senator (ret.)
