Dongxu Li is a research associate at the Centre for Industrial Competitiveness (CIC). Her major research interests are in the field of high-tech innovation, industry competitiveness and dynamics in the cloud computing industry.
From 2007 to 2011, Dongxu worked for Microsoft (China) in Beijing as a marketing specialist, promoting Microsoft cloud computing technologies and enterprise solutions to customers. During the four years at Microsoft, Dongxu not only accumulated valuable knowledge about the high-tech organizational innovation process and complex business operation systems, but also developed deep insight into the Chinese IT ecosystem. Between 2011 and 2013, Dongxu worked as a Research Assistant in the department of Economic & Social Development of Regions at University of Massachusetts Lowell. She conducted research on the organizational innovation, industry dynamics and public policies in the Chinese cloud computing industry. After Dongxu graduated from UMass Lowell at the end of 2013, she joined Nokia as a Senior Business Analyst. Working at Nokia’s Cloud Computing Operations and Delivery division, Dongxu continues her study in the cloud computing industry.
