Objectives

Goals of the Office of School Partnerships:

• To provide a visible, coordinated and effective point of access for University of Massachusetts Lowell faculty, staff and preK-12 schools to collaborate on programs of mutual interest

• To develop collaborative funding proposals in partnership with University of Massachusetts faculty and public school to support university teaching and/or research while also achieving schools' educational goals

• To assist University of Massachusetts Lowell faculty in understanding the culture of public schools, the optimal processes to follow in gaining access, and the most productive ways to collaborate with preK-12 schools and districts 

• To support urban schools and teachers in preparing for college success
