UMass Lowell and Museum of Science to Host Frankenbike Rodeo

When:  Saturday, Sept. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.

 

Where: UMass Lowell, South Quad

  Parking is available in the Broadway and Wilder streets lot.

 

What:   Do you have a spoked creation just waiting to emerge from your basement? Bring your art bike, modified bike or tricked-out mutant bike and show off your radical ride at the Frankenbike Rodeo.

All handmade, unique bikes are welcome to enter the competitions that will be showcased at this bike design challenge, and the general public is invited to observe.  Participants and others will learn about bike modification and building, while getting tips about bike safety and alternative transportation.
