LOWELL -CSI may be the hottest show on television, but at UMass Lowell students are learning the real ins and outs of forensic science. Beginning July 8, two graduate courses, "Forensic Psychology" and "Criminal Profiling," and an undergraduate course, "Forensic Computer Crime," will be offered.
The usual summer school fare is also available such as "History of Rock" and "Screenwriting," as well as information technology courses in areas such as C++ programming and Java. Summer Session II begins July 8 with registration through July 1. Late registration is available for a $50 fee until classes begin.
The UMass Lowell Division of Continuing Studies and Corporate Education is one of the largest continuing education programs in New England, overseeing the evening and summer schools of the University. Credit courses lead to a master's degree in Educational Administration, 12 associate and baccalaureate degrees, and more than 30 certificate programs in specialized technical or professional areas.
