UML's McNulty Coach of Year

LOWELL Karen McNulty, a native of Billerica, was named the Northeast-10 Conference women's volleyball Coach of the Year while four UMass Lowell players were named to the All-Conference teams.

McNulty has guided the River Hawks to a 25-10 record including a 12-2 clip in the Northeast-10 (third place) and is enjoying her fifth 20-win season in six years. She also led UML to its second NCAA Tournament berth in three years as the River Hawks meet NE-10 foe Bryant tonight at the University of New Haven.

In her ninth season, McNulty has posted an all-time record of 181-130 (.582), including a clip of 152-91 (.626) over the last seven years.

Senior Erin Miller and junior Andrea Turner were each named to the second team while senior MH Jamie Guyer and senior OH Stacey Graf earned third team honors.
