The University of Massachusetts Lowell will hold its second anniversary symposium on December 6, 2002 (Friday of the MRS Boston Meeting Week), to honor the memory of Prof. Sukant Tripathy, renowned researcher and Director of the Center for Advanced Materials, and former University Provost and Vice Chancellor. It is envisioned that this will be an annual event of the Center for Advanced Materials to bring together researchers and colleagues from universities and industries, as well as former and present students and associates of the Center, to present and discuss latest research activities in the materials science. This Symposium will be held on Friday of the Boston MRS Meeting week. Please note that the technical papers (oral and poster presentations) of this symposium will be published as a special issue of the Journal of Macromolecular Science. You are invited to attend this symposium.
