UML junior Lucie Rawlins, left, took her mom to the Red Sox game on April 21, using tickets she won in a UML Today contest on campus.

Lucie Rawlins, a junior from Candia, N.H., won a pair of Red Sox tickets in the UML Today contest conducted recently.

The contest was to find a clue – the name of a UML building – in one of the stories posted daily on UML Today over a five-day period. UML Today is the campus news and announcements website.  The contest was open to students, faculty and staff.

Of the 121 contest entries, which were required to list the titles of all five articles in which a clue appeared, 101 had correct answers. Names of the contestants with the correct entries were put into a box and the winner was drawn at random.

Of the 20 people who did not have the correct list of articles, each had put in the wrong article for the “Fox Hall” clue. The correct answer ($120M Eyed for 5th District) was the only one of three articles containing the words Fox Hall in which the residence hall building was out of context, a stipulation of the contest.

Answers were submitted by 84 students, 36 staff and one faculty member.
