The first recipient of the Medford High School Endowed Scholarship was honored on Jan. 18 during Medford Alumni Night at the River Hawks hockey game. UML alumni and Medford natives David Stordy and Jake Burke created the scholarship fund to help Medford high school students who need help financing a UMass Lowell education.
