Sponsors Booths in Lowell, Lawrence

UML Booth at Folk Festival

The University sponsored information booths at both the Lowell Folk Festival and the Lawrence Bread and Roses Festival this summer. Volunteers answered questions and passed out merchandise to hundreds of visitors. Several departments donated items to be raffled off, including an iPod from the University Police, hockey tickets from Athletics and Discovery Series tickets from the Center for the Arts. At left, seen at the Folk Festival are, from left, Dana Skinner, director of Athletics; Sheila Kirschbaum of the Tsongas Industrial History Center; student Keith Courtemanche; Paul Marion, executive director of Outreach; and Sue Ann Pearson, Lowell Festival Foundation executive director.
